Not every surface on a property should be asphalt, and knowing where the two materials meet is most of the job.
Concrete belongs where loads are static or turning is tight: an apron at the head of a driveway, a pad under a bin store or an air conditioning unit, a footway that has to stay level and true for decades.
Forming
Flatwork is only as good as the forms it is poured into. Ours are set to line and level so the finished slab drains where it should and meets adjoining asphalt without a lip.
Finishing
Sidewalks, driveway aprons, curbs and pads are floated and finished cleanly, with joints cut where the slab needs to be allowed to move.
Access
Getting the levels right at a threshold or a kerb is what makes a property usable for someone with a pushchair or a wheelchair, and it costs nothing extra to do properly at the pour.
